We take the subject of data protection seriously. We want to protect your data and will only collect or use data where it is permitted by law, is necessary or – with your consent – is useful for the design and improvement of our site. Please be aware of the following information regarding the use of data at www.feelslikehome.de:

1. Use of Cookies
In order to extend the functional range of our internet site and make the use of the site more comfortable for you, we use so-called “cookies”. With the help of these “cookies” data can be stored on your computer when you visit our website. You have the opportunity to prevent the storage of cookies on your computer via corresponding settings in your browser. However, this could lead to the functional range of our items being restricted.

2. Necessary collection of data for the conclusion of the contract/execution of the contract
If you make a booking at www.feelslikehome.de, we use and store the personal data provided by you in the booking form (name, address, email address, etc.), only as far as is required for the execution of the booking and invoice. We would like to point out that we have to provide information about this data (inventory data) in individual cases by order of responsible authorities, as far as this is required for the purposes of criminal prosecution, defence, to fulfil the statutory tasks of the authorities responsible for the defence of the constitution or the military intelligence service or to enforce the rights of intellectual property.

3. Consent in the use of data for advertising/ market research/ GoogleAnalytics
a) When you visit our website your internet browser automatically passes on data to our web server. This includes, among other items, information about your operating system, type of browser and version, the date and time of the visit, the URL of the website which referred you to us, files accessed, the amount of data send and your IP address. This data is stored separately from the other data, which you provide as part of the use of our website for your identification (section 2). It is not possible to assign this data to a particular person. This data is analysed for statistical purposes and then deleted. For advertising purposes, market research and for the tailor-made design of our internet site we may use pseudonyms to create user profiles for the use of our internet site.

You have the right to oppose this use of your data. We are not allowed to merge the user profile with data about the bearer of the pseudonym.

b) In order to be able to constantly improve our internet site we have to analyse the user behaviour on our website. For this we use the web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”) called “GoogleAnalytics”. This service also uses “cookies” (see section 1), which enable an analysis of your website usage (time of day, time spent on individual sites, etc.). This information about the use of our website is then transferred from your IP address to a Google server, where it is stored and analysed. Google then creates reports from this about the use of the website. In so far as third parties process this data on behalf of Google or if this is legally prescribed, Google will pass on this information to third parties if necessary. In this case Google will not link your IP address with other data from Google. We are responsible to you for the observance of the data protection regulations by Google.

c) You can also prevent this installation of cookies via a corresponding setting on your browser; however we also point out that in this case you may not be able make full use of all functions of this website. You can oppose data collection and storage via GoogleAnalytics at any time in the future (see http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

d) Consent: through the confirmation that you are aware of this information at the end of this text you declare your agreement with the processing of data about you which is stored by us and Google in the manner described above and for the aforementioned purposes.

6. Right to information/ right of deletion/blocking
As a user of our internet site you have the right to demand information from us about the data which is stored about you or your pseudonym. Upon request the information can also be provided electronically. Furthermore, you have the opportunity to delete your data if necessary or have it corrected, provided this data is no longer needed for the execution of the contract. If a legal or contractual retention period for certain data applies, the data is blocked rather than deleted.

6. Passing on data to third parties
Your personal data will only be passed onto third parties to the extent declared in this data protection statement. Naturally your personal data will not be sold on to third parties.
